Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is available now on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, though players have found a similar bug to the one present in Destiny where players can find areas of the game map filled with loot.
The bug itself is demonstrated in the Youtube video above, but rather than calling these "Loot Caves" bugs it might be in both Bungie and 2K Australia's interest to call these things a feature. At least, that's what I like when game developers figure out something they messed up actually entertains and engages with players on a level beyond earned loot.
As was the case with Grand Theft Auto Online, developers and publishers want to ensure that software works the way they intended and certainly in the case of Rockstar Games and the online world available to intrepid gamers in Los Santos, money was to be made in selling virtual GTA$ to players.
I'd recommend both Destiny and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! take these Loot Caves or even the next one players find and turn it into a daily activity, particularly if it can be made clear that they'll be rolling the dice. It'd be incredible if an overzealous player grinding away in one of these areas eventually meets a boss character or a powerful group of enemies.
For more on loot caves, ignore both Destiny and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! and check out Super Motherload which is essentially one really big loot cave.
