The Remnant 2 Vault of the Formless key is a difficult item to find in the dungeon on the world of N’Erud. If you’ve reached the last section of the dungeon, you might find yourself unable to get past a locked door that looks like a giant cylinder with a red orb in the center. Checking the map may not help all either, since it would seem like you have explored every part of the level. Fortunately, there is a hint earlier in the dungeon that has you unlock a similar door using a House Lythia Glyph. Here’s where to find another House Lythia Glyph as the key to finish the Vault of the Formless in Remnant 2.
How to get past locked door with Remnant 2 Vault of the Formless key
To get past the locked door in the Vault of the Formless dungeon, you need to grab the House Lythia Glyph from a chest found by heading through a secret path.
In a section of the dungeon that’s close to the locked door, there is a pathway that automatically moves. This pathway looks like a rectangular container that’s open at both ends. What you need to do is wait inside this container and then wait it to rotate. After about five seconds, you will be moved to a section of the map where you can walk out of the container to a new part of the dungeon.
Move down the hallway a bit and head into the open room on the left. Inside, you’ll find the House Lythia Glyph that you’ll need to unlock the locked door. It should be easy enough to work your way around so you can head back to the door and use this key to finally finish the Vault of the Formless.
For your efforts, you’ll receive the powerful Rupture Cannon, which works well against close-range enemies despite its name.
