Final Fantasy 16 Eikon List: How Many Eikons Are in FF16?

Many are wondering how many eikons are in Final Fantasy 16. The full Final Fantasy 16 Eikon list is something players are asking about, in particular because there are a lot of abilities that Clive can learn from each Eikon in the game. FF16 has turned the traditional summons from prior Final Fantasy games and turned them into powerful fighters straight out of a summer blockbuster movie. Each Eikon is tied to a human Dominant, who can use its power for a good cause, for a nation, or for selfish reasons. The ability to wield Eikons as a Dominant is an integral part of the story. As such, here’s how many Eikons are in FF16.

How many Eikons are in Final Fantasy 16?

There are 10 Eikons in Final Fantasy 16 in the base game.

Clive will gain access to the abilities of eight Eikons over the course of the game’s story, including Ifrit, Phoenix, Shiva, Ramuh, Garuda, Titan, Bahamut, and Odin. There are also two additional EIkons called Titan Lost and Typhon.

As Clive progresses in his adventure to Level 100, he will gain specific abilities from one particular Eikon, though we’ll keep this vague so that we don’t spoiler anything. This will allow him to become a powerful fighter on the field with the ability to trigger a limit break that will help stagger tough bosses and deal a ton of damage when they’re down.

Meanwhile, by spending some ability points he can learn up to five skills from each Eikon, especially elemental spells that can deal extra damage to bosses with certain weaknesses. These skills include wind claws from Garuda, lightning storms from Ramuh, light beams from Bahamut, and ice shards from Shiva.

We must also add that Square Enix will likely add to the list of Eikons in the game. There’s already a mention of Leviathan, who may appear as part of future DLC.

That said, these Eikon boss battles have been blamed for being the reason behind FF16 allegedly overheating the PS5 and otherwise causing frame rate issues and stuttering.
