Who is the Uncharted movie Nolan North character?
Nolan North appears in one scene in the Uncharted movie as a cameo appearance, playing an unnamed man on a beach who talks to Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer (Sophia Ali). He sees them walk out of the water, fully clothed and soaking wet, and asks what happened to them. They tell the man that they fell out of a plane without a parachute, and Nolan North’s character replies “something like that happened to me once.” North’s character does not return again later in the movie.
Of course, this is a direct reference to the fact that Nolan North plays Nathan Drake in the games, as well as to the fact that a similar scene with Nate hanging on to cargo before falling out of a plane occurs in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Fans have complained about the movie copying this particular scene, which prominently features in the movie’s trailers, so this is presumably Sony’s attempt to hang a lantern on this issue.
