Those trending Spider-Man: No Way Home Empire State IDs are fake

One of the biggest new trends surrounding Spider-Man: No Way Home is claims that college IDs for both Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn feature in the film. The Empire State University IDs show “Gwendolyn Maxine Stacy” and “Harold Theopolis Osborn” and look quite convincing. Sadly, for fans of these characters, they are fake. Here’s the need-to-know info. (SPOILERS for Spider-Man: No Way Home follow!)

Spider-Man: No Way Home Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn IDs: Are they in the movie?

Neither Gwen Stacy nor Harry Osborn is in the Spider-Man: No Way Home movie.

Though she isn’t in the movie, Gwen Stacy is referenced by Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man. He says that she is his version of MJ and that he was unable to save her.

Harry Osborn is also referenced. Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man describes how his best friend tried to kill him.

The Spider-Man: No Way Home IDs leak shows Empire State University identification for Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn. The would-be actors playing these characters can be seen fairly clearly in each photo.

Unfortunately, for those hoping that these IDs are real, they do not feature in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Of course, it’s possible that Gwen Stacy and Harry Osborn will eventually be added to the MCU. With Tom Holland starting again, the door is open for him to find new friends (and enemies!).

In other news, it’s been 20 years since Final Fantasy X first released on PlayStation 2. Enjoy this look back at the game’s launch trailer and the GameRevolution review (yes, from 2001!).

Spider-Man: No Way Home’s ending makes room for the MCU version of Miles Morales. Here’s where the hero could go next.

On the DC side of things, the Blue Beetle movie has been upgraded from streaming-only to a full-fledged theatrical release. This sets a precedence that has Batgirl fans excited.
