We’ve all seen Fortnite hosting virtual concerts for huge musicians, and now Roblox is getting in on the action. The sandbox game is hosting a special event based around the pop-punk group Twenty One Pilots. Announced today, the event will showcase the best of the duo’s music, in an interactive concert experience like no other. When is the Roblox Twenty One Pilots event?
The Roblox Twenty One Pilots event will take place over two days, September 17-19. The pre-show starts September 15 and runs for two days.
Here are the timings for the Roblox Twenty One Pilots event:
- Pre-show – September 15 at 4 PM PT/7 PM ET/12 AM BST, with repeats every hour
- Concert – September 17 at 4 PM PT/7 PM ET/12 AM BST, with repeats every hour
It means that any time you drop into Roblox over these days, you should be able to catch the Twenty One Pilots event while it’s live. There are some special themed objectives live now as well, with a scavenger hunt running from September 8 to September 19.
Following the success of the Lil Nas X Roblox concert last year, Twenty One Pilots are the next artists to perform in Roblox. The event will consist of a virtual concert, where the audience can vote for which song the band will play next. This is on top of special themed outfits and avatars to unlock through the pre-show scavenger hunt. They feature the band’s logo and the yellow coloring they often utilize in photos.
It’s certainly exciting news for fans of Twenty One Pilots, who have been unable to perform in front of audiences during the pandemic. Virtual concerts are all the rage now and it’s likely this isn’t the last one we’ll see.
