Do note that in the absence of official confirmation from developer Epic Games, this could be inaccurate or subject to change. HYPEX does have a strong track record, however.
The Renegade dance is reportedly a Rare Emote (blue), which means it should be available to purchase for 500 V-Bucks. That translates to around $5, or potentially less taking into account any bonuses to be had when buying V-Bucks in quantity. Since HYPEX referenced the Item Shop, the Fortnite Renegade Emote is unlikely to be obtainable through gameplay.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Renegade dance, it’s a social media sensation that started on TikTok. It incorporates multiple popular dance steps (like the dab) into one routine set to the song “Lottery” by K-Camp. With the dance craze taking off in real life, it was only a matter of time before it hit Fortnite.
