Don your gambeson and polish your zweihander — Chivalry 2 Cross-Play support has been leaked in advance of its reveal later today. What’s more, there will be a Chivalry 2 PS5 release and Xbox Series X release, and everyone on all platforms will be able to play together!
The information comes via a YouTube trailer that was uploaded and accidentally made public. It was quickly taken down, but not before some people were able to grab critical screenshots and copy down the information contained in the trailer’s description.

Here’s what the description of the trailer reportedly said according to Twinfinite (which also provided our header image):
“Chivalry 2 is a multiplayer first-person slasher inspired by epic medieval movie battles. The game will be released on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One family of devices including the Xbox One X in addition to PC (via the Epic Games Store) as well as the next-gen PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, with more information coming later on those versions.”
As the trailer’s reported description notes, there is also going to be a Chivalry 2 Epic Games Store release in the future, too. The official announcement about Chivalry 2 Cross-play is likely to be made later today during IGN’s Summer of Gaming event alongside a new trailer.
