Sony is saying that they’ve finally found out who The Last of Us 2 leakers are following several devastating spoilers that reveal much of the game’s plot. This may mean that the people who leaked The Last of Us 2 could be in some serious trouble.
If you haven’t been following this game, a recent wave of leaks for The Last of Us 2 featured pre-release content, including some pretty hefty spoilers (which we won’t discuss here). The video leaks showed low-quality, incomplete footage that was missing some special effects and finishing touches.

Now, GamesIndustry.biz reports that they’ve finally heard from Sony on the matter. According to their information, Sony has identified The Last of Us 2 leakers and confirmed that they are not affiliated with Sony or Naughty Dog as some had thought.
Unfortunately, Sony didn’t have anything else to say on the matter. While these leaks may have ruined the game for some, those who were upset by them can take some small comfort in the fact that Sony is probably going after them.
