new Far Cry game Far Cry 3 Remastered Far Cry prequel Far Cry 6 movie Netflix

New Far Cry game teased by Vaas voice actor Michael Mando

Vaas voice actor Michael Mando has hinted that we may be seeing him a new Far Cry game. This could be Far Cry 3 Remastered, a Far Cry 3 prequel, or even Far Cry 6.

Michael Mando is well-known in the gaming world for his stellar performance as Vaas, the memorable antagonist from Far Cry 3. Now, he’s hinting that he may be reprising the character sometime soon.

“Vaas is my spirit animal – having co-created that character is something that will always be dear to me,” he stated in a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session. “I still get recognized as Vaas, and I still feel the outpouring of love for that character – makes me very happy. Who knows… maybe I will reprise the role very soon?”

If Michael Mando is indeed reprising his role, that only leaves a few likely possibilities:

  • Far Cry 3 Remastered
  • Far Cry 3 prequel
  • A Far Cry 3 port for the next console generation
  • Far Cry 6

While we’ve already seen Far Cry 3 Classic Edition make its debut in 2018, that was less a remaster and more a port to the current generation of consoles. It’s also entirely possible that we could be seeing something else like a Far Cry movie or Netflix series.

Far Cry 3 was well-received and it could well be worth a remaster — or perhaps something even more interesting than that.
