Year 4, Season 4 of Rainbow Six Siege is right around the corner, and as dedicated fans know, the new update is called Shifting Tides. Shifting Tides introduces a host of fresh changes into Ubisoft Montreal’s first-person shooter release, and many players are wondering when exactly these changes are scheduled to go live. So, when is the Rainbow Six Siege Shifting Tides release date? Here’s all the evidence we’ve found so far.
What is the Rainbow Six Siege Shifting Tides release date?
The release date for Rainbow Six Siege Shifting Tides has not yet been officially revealed. However, the developers at Ubisoft pushed the Shifting Tides update to test servers just last Monday, November 11, so the official release date is likely not far away.

Given that there isn’t usually a large gap between when updates are pushed to test servers and the time when those updates go live for all players, it’s likely that Shifting Tides will release fairly soon. If we had to guess, Year 4 Season 4 will probably begin within the next four weeks, which would mean Shifting Tides will go live sometime around the early part of December.
So what’s new with Shifting Tides? The biggest draw to Year 4 Season 4 will likely be the addition of two new operators: An attacker named Kali and a Defender named Wamai. The developers have also introduced a new version of the Theme Park map, and there have been changes to the rappel system as well. Last but certainly not least, players will find that the price of several operators has been decreased, specifically Dokkaebi, Echo, Hibana, Kaid, Nomad, Vigil, and Zofia.
There’s still no official word on when Rainbow Six Siege Shifting Tides will go live, but when we hear a definitive date, we’ll be sure to update this guide.
