Atlas sent to Character Creator screen error bug

Grapeshot Games have received multiple reports of players being thrown back to the Character Creator screen when they’re trying to access a server or if they manage to get into a game. It’s a source of frustration for many, as if you do manage to find a stable-ish server to play on, it’s not long before you’re chucked out of it.

Those who do are being sent back to this particular screen, which will probably feel like an even bigger bugbear to players after all the time spent customizing their avatar.

Not yet. Dollie, the assistant community manager for Grapeshot Games, took to their personal Twitter account on Wednesday, January 23, to explain what was happening. They revealed that the development team were looking into these reports, and that an update would be provided once the source of the bug had been found.

As you can imagine, the replies to Dollie’s tweet weren’t exactly enthusiastic. Plenty of disgruntled players voiced their displeasure at this error—and many others besides—as they continuef to look for answers to how broken Atlas is.

There aren’t any official forums for players to send over error reports, but you can make the team aware of issues via the Atlas Steam page discussion board. Head to this link, sign in with your Steam details, and you can report bugs there.
