If the plethora of Chocobo customization options in Final Fantasy 15 weren’t enough for you, the Kooky Bundle adds the opportunity to make your feathery friend an attractive Twitch Purple. “But what makes the Kooky Chocobo kooky,” you may ask. Well, this bird is adorned with googly eyes, which end up making it look a lot like a Prinny.
How to Get the Twitch Prime Kooky Chocobo in FFXV: Windows Edition for PC
To get the Kooky Chocobo Bundle, you’ll need to be a Twitch Prime member first and foremost. If you’re not already a member, there are two ways to go about this.
How to Get the Kooky Chocobo if You’re Not an Amazon Prime or Twitch Prime Member
If you’re not an Amazon Prime or Twitch Prime member, don’t fret. There’s still a way you can get your Kooky Chocobo without breaking the bank. As long as you haven’t already used it, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial of Twitch Prime at twitchprime.com.
Once you’ve done that, just look for the crown along the top of your browser window when logged into Twitch.tv and look for the Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition: Kooky Bundle. After that, just click “Claim Offer” and you’re golden.
How to Link Your Amazon Prime Account to Twitch to Get the Kooky Chocobo
If you’re already an Amazon Prime member, you’re a Twitch Prime member too. If you haven’t taken advantage of this, you’ll need to link your Amazon and Twitch accounts, which is super simple:
- Log into Twitch and Amazon.
- Head over to the Twitch website and click “Try Prime” at the top of the page.
- You’ll get a prompt to link your Amazon and Twitch accounts.
- Do so, then head back to the Twitch website and click the crown at the top of the page.
- Look for the Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition: Kooky Bundle and click “Claim Offer” to get your Chocobo.
If you’re already a Twitch Prime member, getting your Chocobo is even easier, just click on the crown to access your rewards and claim the FFXV: Windows Edition Kooky Bundle.
Once you’ve claimed your Kooky Bundle, launch FFXV: Windows Edition. Once you’re on the main menu, select “Special Gift from Twitch Prime” and link your Twitch account. Once you hit chapter 3 and make it to the Chocobo post, you’ll be able to access your Kooky Chocobo skin. You’ll also get 10,000 Gil upon redeeming the reward as well.
Can I Get the Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition: Kooky Bundle Purple Chocobo on PS4 or Xbox One?
Unfortunately, right now the Kooky Bundle is limited to PC copies of FFXV only. There’s a chance that sometime in the future that the Kooky Chocobo will come to PS4 and Xbox One, though. For now, FFXV Xbox One and PS4 players will have to make due with the vast amount of colors to choose from that were already in the game.
