Final Fantasy XV Is Coming to PC [Gamescom 2017]

Following months of speculation, it has been confirmed that Final Fantasy XV has a PC version in development. The announcement was made by Nvidia at its Gamescom 2017 press conference.

Square Enix is working alongside Nvidia to support the release with a variety of technologies, including HairWorks, ShadowWorks, VXAO, and Turf Effects. Whether or not you’re using an Nvidia graphics card, you’ll have access to 4K resolution, all DLC packages, and more.

The recommended (not minimum) specs are as follows:

  • Monitor: supports 4K and HDR
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce 1080Ti
  • CPU: Intel i7 3.4GHz or Ryzen 7 1700
  • RAM: 16GB
  • HDD: 170GB

Final Fantasy XV earned a 4.0/5 from GameRevolution at launch for its outstanding presentation, interesting progression system, and well-designed open world. It has since received several updates that have improved its content offerings while presenting additional narrative pieces.

Final Fantasy XV on PC has an open release window of early 2018.
