Buy, Try, Die: July 2014

July. Reserved as the month after E3 when all of the PR reps have a nice vacation. But in the vacuum of triple-A releases comes a deluge of indie titles ready to release on Steam and several remakes.

On the reboot side, we have the Super Turbo Championship Edition installment for Guacamelee! releasing today, a new adaptation of Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee in New 'n' Tasty in mid-July, and The Last of Us Remastered for PS4 late on July 29 which I hesitate to purchase and replay, but may just out of respect of the game. I also can't forget Saints Row IV: National Treasure Edition which includes all of the DLC for Saints Row.

Otherwise, there are about twenty Steam titles releasing this month, which should be a godsend for our indie aficionado, Gil Almogi. Ryan Bates is also excited for Wayward Manor by Neil Gaiman.

The following abridged list and the full gallery release list is based on North American release.
