Game Revolution’s Reader-Voted Game of the Decade (2010-19)

The decade is wrapping up and it’s been… interesting, to say the least. But while the wider world may have steadily descended into chaos, there has been one constant: video games. Now it’s time for you to decide which of those video games was the absolute best.

In 2010, we started this decade with the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and DS. In 2019, we end the decade with the Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, and Switch. We’ve seen Nintendo go through three new consoles before introducing us to a handheld/home console hybrid. Sony and Microsoft have tried to compete with gaming PCs by building systems capable of 4K 60 FPS. And to top it all off, the entire medium become the biggest moneymaker in the entertainment industry.

None of this could have been accomplished without the near-constant stream of excellent games we’ve received since 2010, created by talented developers who don’t receive nearly enough the amount of respect that they deserve. From Call of Duty 4, to Minecraft, to Fortnite, over the past decade these developers have pumped out huge pop-culture milestones that have brought gaming to a wider audience than ever before.

We’ve compiled 50 games that have been the highlights of this decade, and we want you to decide which game deserves the honor of Game of the Decade the most. You can vote below and leave your reasons why in the comments section — our favorite comments will be used in our special announcement feature, which will reveal Game Revolution’s Game of the Decade 2010-19. Visit GR on December 30 when we’ll reveal the winner!
