We Saw Cyberpunk 2077 Gameplay and Here’s What We Thought

E3 2018 is over, which means we can finally sleep. It also means that we can settle down and record more episodes of the Cross-Play podcast, which is exactly what we did. This week is a particularly interesting episode, as we run through what we saw at E3, including Chandler’s behind-closed-doors demo of Cyberpunk 2077CD Projekt Red’s next game following The Witcher 3 is one of the most highly anticipated and mysterious upcoming releases, and we were at the scene of its secret demo to witness what all the fuss was about. Tune in if you want to find out more!

Also discussed in the podcast are our favorite games of the show, along with the publisher that we thought had the best line-up during the show. Did Microsoft wow us this year with its barrage of games? What about Sony and The Last of Us 2? Or did Nintendo and Super Smash Bros Ultimate blow us away? There’s only one way to find out, and it’s by clicking that li’l play button.

Conveniently considering our podcast’s title, we also went into detail about the recent kerfuffle surrounding Sony and cross-platform play. With there being a great deal of controversy surrounding the company’s refusal to allow cross-play between the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, we offer our thoughts on this mess, and whether or not it will affect Sony’s future.

As always, Cross-Play is brought to you by the combined efforts of GameRevolution’s Paul Tamburro and Jason Faulkner, alongside our sister site PlayStation LifeStyle’s Cameron Teague and Chandler Wood. There are a variety of ways to listen to each episode. Listen to Cross-Play Podcast Episode 9: Do You Wanna Cyber? below:
