Best of 2015 Awards: Best Multiplayer

Winner: Halo 5: Guardians

343 Industries spent countless hours designing, testing, and tuning Halo 5: Guardians' multiplayer, and it paid off in a big way. There was something for everyone, whether it be the casual but highly entertaining Warzone game mode, or Arena where competitive players battled for rank ups. Its weapons and shooting model remained at the remarkably high standard of its predecessors, reminding shooter fans why Halo is held in such high regard. Also, unlike many competitors, especially on console, it employed dedicated servers and reliable netcode that ensured that combat across all matches was as fair and consistent as possible.

Nominees: Heroes of the Storm, Splatoon, Destiny: The Taken King, Runbow, Rocket League
