Best of 2015 Awards: Best Indie Game

Winner: Undertale

2015 was an outstanding year for independent developers, but no game demonstrated greatness better than Undertale. Despite being priced at a modest $10. it had everything you could hope for from an RPG: fantastic writing, a good sense of humor, interesting characters, and healthy variation. While its narrative was what left the greatest impression on players, its fun combat and well-orchestrated original soundtrack were equally important elements that elevated it to being one of the year's greatest games.

Nominees: Rocket League, Life is Strange, Kerbal Space Program, Jotun, Ori and the Blind Forest, Read Only Memories
