Rare Replay is a few days from launch. While you might know that it includes 30 of Rare's best titles at only $30, there's a lot more to this package that makes it attractive.
While playing Rare Replay for the past few days I've learned a few details that have made me appreciate it more than I anticipated. Below I will share with you 10 things about the game that you might not know about.

There\'s 10,000 Gamerscore ready to be earned
Each of Rare Replay's 30 games have Milestones, an in-game version of Achievements that are linked to the Xbox Live Achievements for the title. Each of these reward you with Xbox Live Gamerscore, up to a total of a whopping 10,000 points. -
18 unreleased songs
Rare has a collection of 18 musical pieces ranging across its game portfolio that were never officially released. You can spend your Stamps to unlock these and listen to them for the first time ever. -
A behind-the-scenes look at Rare
There are a variety of behind the scenes pieces available to be unlocked that provide insight into Rare and its history. Purchased with Stamps, Microsoft's Phil Spencer has voiced that the documentaries are extraordinary and celebrate the studio's monumental success over the years as it's evolved. -
330 Stamps to collect
As you accomplish Milestones in each of the 30 games you will earn Stamps. Collecting Stamps will raise your rank, and can be used as currency to unlock one of many goodies in the shop ranging from behind-the-scenes footage to musical tracks. -
First ever look at five unreleased Rare games
Rare has had several projects canceled over the years. These projects have names, assets, and concepts that in many cases have never been publicly revealed. Using your Stamps you can unlock videos that catalog five of the studio's unreleased titles, offering a look at games that could have been groundbreaking but weren't pursued to release. -
Multiplayer is intact
Many of Rare's games have multiplayer components, such as the case for Kameo: Elements of Power's split-screen co-op. You'll be able to enjoy multiplayer in these games with your friends as they were meant to be played. -
Xbox 360 games and install sizes
Rare Replay's Xbox 360 derived games (i.e. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts) open in a new window. These games are backward compatible versions of the titles rather than original remasters. Every other game is played within the base application. As far as installs go, the base is 12GB in size, and the Xbox 360 games bring the total up to 50GB. Lastly, there is a 250MB Day One Update that will be available at launch. -
Every game has a hub
Before you launch a game you will be greeted by a themed hub that includes a description of the game you have selected and a variety of details including if the game has multiplayer as well as any Milestones available to unlock. -
New options are available including rewind
Before you enter a game you can visit its game-specific options menu to view its settings. These settings allow you to enable a border, filter, as well as cheats. In the case of a game like Battletoads, you can turn on a rewind feature that allows you to undo actions, thus making the game easier to complete. Infinite Lives is another option you'll see in some of the games. -
Snapshots provide a modern challenge
Perhaps the greatest feature of Rare Replay is its Snapshots mode. This offers a new way to enjoy Rare's classic games by tackling brief challenges. These are broken up into two sections: Snapshots Gallery and Snapshots Playlist. Snapshots Gallery features five challenges per game, while Snapshots Playlist presents six challenges that take you from one moment to another. This feature offers a way to enjoy these classic games in a non-linear fashion and earn rewards in the process.
