For every Spyro and Mario, there's an awful knock-off and a ridiculous idea someone somehow convinced a marketing exec to throw money at. Sometimes, those ideas even get multiple rounds of money, whether or not they deserve the first fistful (because market paradigm shifts and game-changing empowering of the brand and such, I guess?).
With that in mind, here’s a list of some of the blandest, boringest, or simply worst original leading characters I’ve ever seen. Hope you’re wearing your clothespins, because this list is full of stinkers.
