Oscilloscope Modding Community Adds Playable Quake

Quake and Doom have now been successfully modded for Oscilloscope hardware, making for one extremely unique gaming platform particularly for enthusiasts and fellow hardware/software modders.

Finnish hardware enthusiast Pekka Väänänen got Quake to run on the Hitachi V-422 Oscilloscope, with video of the hardware in-action above. Väänänen managed to create a simulator for the Oscilloscope, then load the game accounting for things like audio effects, before finalizing things like the speed at which the hardware would produce visuals.
