Notch’s $70 Million Mansion Recreated in Minecraft

Just a few days ago, Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson purchased a very expensive mansion in Beverly Hills.

Since that time, one dedicated Minecraft player has recreated the $70 million home within the game. Check out YouTube user Dan Bovey's incredible work below.

Earlier this year, Microsoft purchased Minecraft developer Mojang for the whopping sum of $2.5 billion. Since then Persson has parted ways with the company and moved on to other pursuits, which apparently include purchasing very expensive homes. Go figure.
