Farming Simulator Gets Even More Real With Tractor Peripheral

Farming Simulator has at least mildly entertained gamers in some form or another over the past few years, but it could get a lot more real with a new tractor peripheral made by Mad Catz. Mad Catz itself will produce the peripheral within the Saitek brand.

You may recognize Saitek from flight simulation peripherals among other devices, though Farming Simulator peripherals remain without a ship date. Mad Catz CEO Darren Richardson told MCVUK that fans won't have to wait for long:

Mad Catz' Saitek brand has long been the market leader in developing peripherals with precision and quality.

We are excited to bring the same level of engineering and realism to the farming simulator genre. Giants Software has created a much loved simulation that has a loyal and passionate fan base. Mad Catz is confident that the farming simulator community will embrace Saitek hardware, which we believe will bring an added dimension of realism and immersion to farming simulation.

We are focused on expanding the range and reach of our Saitek brand and working alongside Giants is a positive step in that direction.

While I've never played a Farming Simulator game myself, my guess is once you go tractor peripheral, you don't go back.
