Bandai Namco Changes Its Name… Again

Bandai Namco Games is being rebranded Bandai Namco Entertainment, the company has just announced.

"With the advance of technology and diversification of user preferences, the Group has expanded into new products and service domains that extend beyond its previous game business domain," the company explained in a press release.

The change will go into effect on April 1, 2015. Earlier this year, the company changed its name from Namco Bandai Games to Bandai Namco Games. Subtle, but apparently necessary.
