Resident Evil Remake to Launch January 2015

Gather up your lockpicks, you masters of unlocking!

Capcom has revealed that the remastering of the iconic survival horror game Resident Evil will open its doors digitally on January 20 for PS3/PS4, Xbox 360/Xbox One, and PC. The date was revealed via a teaser trailer featuring some doors that ring very familiar to fans of the series.

Capcom promises that the eighth-gen version will run at 1080p, setting itself as the “definitive version” of the title and allowing players to toggle between modern and classic control schemes.

With a price point at only $20, gamers will have extra money left over for gaming snacks. May we suggest… a Jill Sandwich?
