Square Enix Will Reveal a New RPG Next Month

Square Enix is set to unveil a brand-new role-playing game next month.

In an interview with Famitsu (via Gematsu) Square president Yosuke Matsuda teased the impending announcement, noting that the game is not a remake. "Actually, right now, we’re working on a new RPG specifically for consoles and it isn’t a remake," he said. "We’ll start talking about it more in December and go from there."

With both Geoff Keighley's The Game Awards and Sony's PlayStation Experience set to take place in early December, there's a good chance we'll find out what this new mysterious role-playing game is at that time. Will it be a new Final Fantasy title? A new IP entirely? Sound off with your hopes, dreams, and predictions in the comments below.
