New Super Mario Bros. Wii Has Sold 10 Million in U.S.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii, the hit 2D platformer that launched back in 2009 on Nintendo's motion-based last-gen console, has hit the 10 million sales mark in the United States.

"Wahoo! New Super Mario Bros. Wii just hit 10 million copies sold. That’s a lot of penguin suits!" Nintendo of America announced in a post on Twitter. Accompanying this week was the following image, celebrating this staggering milestone for the title.

 

Do you own a copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii? I know I was once the proud owner of that red DVD case a couple of years ago.

Star Citizen will consist of two main components: first person space combat and trading in a massively multiplayer persistent universe and customizable private servers (known as Star Citizen), and a branching single-player game (known as Squadron 42).
