Death Stranding Is Coming to iOS and Mac Next Week

While the world still waits for more info on the follow-up to Death Stranding, Apple users will soon be able to play Kojima’s open-world title. From January 30 – which is next Tuesday – the 2019 game will be available on iOS and Mac devices.

You can preorder today

The news comes from a recent post on X from developer Kojima Productions, which says that it will be the Director’s Cut of Death Stranding specifically. This means you’ll get the extended version, which comes with additional content, such as new items.

The Apple App Store gives a few details on which devices will be compatible with the game. For those who want to play it on iPhone or iPad, you’ll need to make sure you have at least the A17 Pro chip or M1 chip, respectively. You’ll also need to make sure you have iOS 17.0 or later as well.

For Macs, version 12 of macOS or later will be required, as well as the aforementioned Apple M1 chip.

Death Stranding comes from the unique mind of Hideo Kojima, one of the industry’s most renowned video game directors. The upcoming Apple ports will be a chance for fans to play it on the move. As we make our way through 2024, here’s hoping that more details about the new Death Stranding installment will be inbound soon.
