Sony Details Free Games Joining PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection Through January

Sony's PlayStation Blog broke the news that subscribers to PlayStation Plus will find a few awesome gifts under the PS Store Christmas tree this holiday season with Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition and inFAMOUS: First Light for PlayStation 4 owners paying to play online.

Both Sony and Microsoft offer free games via online subscription fees, though Sony's offerings have eclipsed those on Xbox given the early start and backing of third-party publishers. Driveclub PS Plus Edition, however, remains off the table as Sony locks down the online environment.

Injustice: Gods Among Us actually takes the crown as the first full retail PlayStation 4 game to be made free via PlayStation Plus subscription. inFAMOUS: First Light and The Swapper are set to appear in January. For more, be sure to follow our PlayStation Network tag page.
