Blizzard Bans Thousands of Hearthstone Accounts for Botting

Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft players who have been using bots and other nefarious programs to discover and use exploits in the game will find that their accounts have been banned through the end of 2014.

Blizzard writes that "fair play is at the core of the Hearthstone experience" and that exploitive players "will not be tolerated." To that end, Blizzard's administrative staff are taken accounts into review under the game's Terms of Use. "From this point on, accounts found to be cheating will be permanently closed without warning."

Here's hoping you haven't used these means to unlock rare cards or rack up a lot of wins as all that not-work will go to waste.
