Dead Space remake: Isaac Clarke firing at an advancing Necromorph.

Dead Space Remake Coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

The next titles coming to Xbox Game Pass have been announced, and horror fans will be pleased to know the remake of Dead Space will be joining the ranks. The timing is also perfect, seeing as we’re inching closer to Halloween.

Not for all Game Pass accounts, though

According to a recent post on Xbox Wire, the 2023 reimagining of the first Dead Space game will be coming to Game Pass on October 26. However, it’s worth noting that it’s not coming to all versions of the Microsoft subscription service.

The game will be available for Game Pass Ultimate users. This is likely due to the fact that this more expensive tier comes with EA Play, which Dead Space will be available through. As such, Game Pass Core users won’t get to play it unless, of course, they buy it outright.

Seeing as Electronic Arts is the publisher of the remake (and the Dead Space series in general), it would make sense that the game is only available on Game Pass through EA’s own service.

Other titles coming to Xbox Game Pass this month include F1 Manager 2023 and Cities: Skylines 2 (on PC only, though), both of which are coming on October 19 and October 24, respectively.

As of right now, you can also play Like a Dragon: Ishin!, which is available through Xbox Series X|S, PC, and cloud.

As for Dead Space, the remake received some pretty good reviews, which is more than can be said for its spiritual successor, The Callisto Protocol.
