Tekken 8 Closed Network Test Dates Set, Sign Up Now

Bandai Namco announced the Tekken 8 closed network test dates and registration are now available for those looking to take part.

When is the Tekken 8 closed network test taking place?

The Tekken 8 closed network test dates have been set, and will take place from July 21-24, 2023, and then again from July 28-31, 2023. The closed network test will take place on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Players looking to play the game early can do so by signing up for the chance to play.

Registration is now available on Tekken’s official website.

According to Bandai Namco in its announcement, the purpose of the closed network test will be to gain feedback on the quality of the game’s network and gameplay as a whole. Alongside the closed network test, an online survey will also be sent out to people participating in the closed network test to provide feedback and opinions on what the game is like.

Gameplay Changes

  • “Heat Energy” has been removed.
  • The upper limit (heat activation time) of “Heat Timer” will change depending on how the heat is activated.
  • The “Heat Smash” command has been standardized for all playable characters.
