Payday 3 Release Date Reportedly Leaked

Starbreeze Studios had only said 2023 for Payday 3, but new leaked information has pointed to a more specific day. This new leak has noted that the Payday 3 release date will be September 21.

The Payday 3 release date will likely be officially revealed soon

This leak comes from Aggiornamenti Lumia, who has accurately grabbed information digital storefronts in the past. They simply posted the release date this time with no extra context.

It’s very likely Starbreeze is going to officially announce the date soon, as the team previously promised that the first gameplay would be debuting this summer. That update also reiterated that the co-op shooter would be releasing later in 2023 and noted that Starbreeze has been “working very hard on the game.” The teaser trailer below that accompanied that announcement was also, appropriately, very brief.

Payday 3 has been shuffling around in some form since being announced in 2016. Prime Matter teased the game once again at its showcase in May 2021. Starbreeze hasn’t shared much since, though, but it will take place in New York and be on consoles and PC. However, the consoles weren’t specified, so it’s unclear if it will make its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The team also said that the PC and console versions are the “same game and not separate games” since it is using Unreal Engine.
