Originally released in 2021, PowerWash Simulator quickly became a cult hit of sorts thanks to its casual gameplay and simple mechanics. Since its release, the game has also received a variety of unique DLC featuring items to clean from other franchises. These include things like a special Final Fantasy VII Remake-themed pack, a Warhammer 40,000 pack, and even a collaboration with SpongeBob SquarePants that had players cleaning up places in Bikini Bottom.

PowerWash Simulator VR is just one of many new VR titles announced by Meta during their showcase. A Samba de Amigo VR game was also announced, alongside more updates on things like Ghostbusters and Stranger Things VR titles.
