Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Gets Free Cross-Gen Upgrade

Still don't yet have a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One but don't want to miss out on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare at launch? Don't worry, you can pick up a copy for PS3 or Xbox 360 and then upgrade free of charge at a later date when you finally do get around to buying a new-gen console.

It's important to note that this applies specifically to the "Digital Edition" of the game, and the offer only lasts until March 31 of next year. You'll also only be able to upgrade within the same "console family," meaning that if you get the Xbox 360 version, you're only eligible for a free Xbox One upgrade. The same goes for PlayStation 3 and PS4.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is being developed by Sledgehammer Games and is set to launch on November 4. Let us know which platform you plan on picking up the game for in the comments below.
