The long-awaited Halo Infinite Infection mode will release will arrive in just a couple of months, according to a leaked trailer. Despite many people expecting this mode to release alongside Season 3, the actual release date is later.

When is the Halo Infinite Infection mode release date?

Halo Infinite Infection mode will release on May 2, according to the YouTube channel Iso Leaks. This channel released the leaked trailer for the upcoming game mode alongside news of the accompanying event. The trailer can be viewed below, and while it doesn’t show any gameplay, be warned that it contains spoilers.

Infection mode will be part of the “Site Unseen” event, which will run from May 2 to May 16. If this event follows the same pattern as previous events, players can expect to unlock new armor components, weapon and vehicle skins, stances, and other cosmetics.

This isn’t the only leak we’ve seen of the upcoming Infection mode. Last week, numerous videos appeared showing leaked gameplay, so Halo Infinite fans have a good idea of what to expect when the game mode is officially released.

Halo Infinite Infection mode will arrive in the middle of Season 3, which added a healthy amount of content to the sci-fi shooter. While future content for Halo Infinite beyond Infection is unknown, Xbox fans will be excited to know that the next Xbox Game Showcase date has been confirmed.
