Cities: Skylines 2 Release Window listed by Game Insider
A Cities: Skylines 2 reveal has been a popular rumor for one of today’s showcases at the Paradox Announcement Show. According to this report, not only will it be announced, but a release date window will be set for late 2023 (via Insider Gaming).
Alongside the release date window, the report claims that Cities: Skylines will launch on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 as it will take advantage of next-gen hardware. Cities: Skylines 2 will also have more open-ended gameplay, but there is no news on multiplayer yet.
This comes just a few weeks after Cities: Skylines Remastered launched on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This upgrade was not released for PC, potentially due to the extensive PC modding scene, which enables most of the features included in the Remastered edition. However, PC players shouldn’t be left out for the launch of Cities: Skylines 2.
We can expect more details on Cities: Skylines 2 at the Paradox Announcement Show, which starts at 6 PM CET / 12 PM EST / 9 AM PST later today.
