Fortnite Mythic Tactical Pistol Added, Is Already Being Called ‘Broken’

Previously uncovered through datamines, but now officially added to the game, the Fortnite Mythic Tactical Pistol is already causing controversy with many players labeling it as “broken.” With the standard Tactical Pistol already being formidable in battle, it’s perhaps unsurprising that the Mythic version appears to be overpowered.

Is the Fortnite Mythic Tactical Pistol overpowered?

Many would argue that the new Fortnite Mythic Tactical Pistol is overpowered. After all, the standard weapon has already stirred up the community with its quick time-to-kill.

Reputable dataminer @ShiinaBR has revealed the Mythic Tactical Pistol’s stats:

Fortnite Mythic Tactical Pistol Stats

  • Damage: 29
  • Headshot Damage: 58
  • Magazine Size: 15
  • Fire Rate: 6.8
  • Reload Time: 1.25

On paper, the new Mythic Tactical Pistol sure looks powerful and it’s understandable why so many players are already labeling it as broken. However, with the weapon only having just been added to the game, it’s going to take more time before players really know just how overpowered the weapon potentially is.

The new Mythic Tactical Pistol is only one of the highlights of the latest update. The new patch also added the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud back to the game for a limited time. Even more interesting is the first-person mode that has been discovered in a datamine.
