Remember Home Improvement? Roah, roah, roah and all that? Tim Allen was always putting more power into stuff, right? Power lawn mower, power toilet, I mean, most of that stuff already had power all on its own. That stuff didn't really need more power, it all did the job it was designed to do. What was wrong with him?
And why has Sony hired him to help develop the PlayStation Vita? Develop reports that Invizimals developer Novarama is working with the PSV and hasn't had any issues with the available CPU, GPU, or RAM. CEO Daniel Sanchez-Crespo said:
It's actually good for developers to work under constraint. Generally for Vita, we still have a whole lot of headroom in terms of GPU power, CPU power and indeed RAM. Remember the PSP had 32 MG of RAM, we have about ten times that now.
The PlayStation 3 has 512MB of RAM. That means the PSV approaches half the RAM of the PS3. This is getting a little too close to Trash-Slasher territory. I hope nothing blows up.
Yes, I watched the worst television growing up. I didn't have cable.
