Brelston from Capcom Unity has revealed several screenshot comparison between the Resident Evil remake which is still in production against the same angled screenshots from the original title. Some of the screenshots posted in the blog have a nifty slider, but I'm just going to reveal the full images below and you can see the difference for yourselves.
Of course, the remake has crisper modeling, textures, and lighting, essentially taking away the smeared-vaseline filter from the original. And lo and behold, there's Chris Redfield back when he looked like a normal human being, except his character model looks cleaner. So what do you think of the polish so far?
