Gauntlet Gets New Release Date

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer Arrowhead Game Studios has delayed the reboot of the classic arcade title, Gauntlet, from the initial date of September 3 to September 23.

It's still set to arrive on Steam for PC and will offer SteamOS support and the upcoming Steam Machines in 2015. The additional time of 20 days will allow the developers to "fine-tune details in order to bring gamers an even more robust multiplayer experience."

For fans who pre-ordered Gauntlet, Warner Bros. will supply a special The Spawn of Kerthull Wizard's Robe for their additional wait.
