GameTruck brings video games to parties and events throughout the United States and Extra Life works to give games to sick kids who need something to play while receiving treatment in the hospital, though the two are teaming up to bring charitable giving to as many gamers as possible.
Jeromy Adams, founder and managing director of ExtraLife, called the partnership an opportunity to grow "group gaming" as a new avenue for generating funds via Extra-Life.org. GameTruck will throw mobile parties in 70 operating markets to promote Extra Life's game day on Saturday, October 25th.
Adams said that the Extra Life team is "thrilled to partner with GameTruck and their dedication to making local gaming fun. Extra Life's mission reflects that spirit, allowing gamers to raise funds that all stay local to the hospital for which they play.
We got a chance to sit down with Adams at E3 2014. Read our full interview here.
