Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Confirmed for September 30

Atlus has confirmed the launch date of September 30, 2014, for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.

Those who pre-order the title will receive a Teddie Bop Bag and the first set of Persona Tarot Cards (the second set will be given as a pre-order for Persona Q on 3DS). Downloadable characters Adachi and Marie will be available free for the first week after release. Characters will obtain new charge moves with the S-Hold system and will have an alternate Shadow version of themselves, and the Golden Arena Mode allows players to earn new abilities.

Ultimax will add an original character named Sho Minazuki and several characters from Persona 3 like Yukari Takeba, Stupei Junpei Iori, and Ken Amada & Koromaru (as a unit). Planned for post-launch DLC in Japan is Yoshitsune, Cu Chulainn, Ardha, and the Persona 4 Velvet Room attendant Margaret.
