Two Tribes Announces RIVE

Two Tribes recently released Toki Tori 2+ on Steam, but the studio's latest game features a lot more shooting and explosions when compared to the bird-brained 2D adventuring in Toki Tori.

RIVE has been in development for some time now, but the current development team is made up of only three people. Two Tribes wrote:

So what did we make!? We call it RIVE and we describe it as 'the metal wrecking, robot hacking shooter'. It's a 2D shooter / platformer with old school gaming values in a decidely new school execution. During the game's intense 360 degree shooting and platforming action, players learn to alter the behavior of their robotic enemies by collecting and uploading hacks.

RIVE will be playable for the first time at Gamescom, and while GameRevolution won't be attending the conference we'll bring you more on RIVE as it nears release.
