Gunstinger and Fruit Ninja Kinect All Strung Up at Retail

I don't need to tell you that my Kinect is gathering a bit of dust. Aside from random bouts of Dance Central and my girlfriend's occasional use of the device, there's not a whole lot of controller-free gaming to be had. It's practically a Dance Central machine… a $200 dancing peripheral. What. The. F***.

That's why I'm looking forward to The Gunstringer, Twisted Pixel's Kinect-based effort that puts you in control of an Old-West-cowboy marionette. The Gunstringer will be in stores on September 13th, but the game won't run you the typical $50 Kinect games go for.

Instead, Twisted Pixel and Microsoft have announced that The Gunstringer will be available for Xbox 360 and Kinect at only $40. Even better, the game will come with a code for Fruit Ninja Kinect, which itself is $10. If you need further value in your Kinect games, free launch DLC will also take players into battle with… "the time-traveling son of Wavy Tube Man."

Also Avatar gear.
