Is Harmonix Bringing Back Rock Band?

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners may one day be able to gather with their friends and rock out with some plastic instruments—that is, if there's enough interest to prompt Harmonix to make a new entry in the popular Rock Band series.

The well-respected music-rhythm developer is currently gaging interest for a new entry in the series. Harmonix has posted a survey online looking for fan feedback with regard to the Rock Band franchise, asking gamers whether or not they'd be interested in more of the series on either "legacy" platforms (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) or "current-gen" hardware (PS4, Xbox One, Wii U).

Of course, we'd love to hear what you think of the Rock Band series as well, so be sure to comment below with your thoughts on the franchise. Do you think there's still enough interest for new entries in the series, or should Harmonix hang up the plastic instruments for good?
