Video Games Live Returns to Comic-Con

[Video Games Live was recently featured on PBS, but the show changes from stop to stop depending on special guests.]

If you're heading to San Diego for Comic-Con International Video Games Live will hold a special performance at the Embarcadero Marina Park South, right behind the convention center.

Video Games Live offers up plenty of beloved video game music for fans and even gamers with a passing interest in the medium, albeit with a penchant for a fully symphony and orchestral arrangements of songs originally composed for video game audio hardware.

The performance at this year's Comic-Con will include the world premiere of a new Blizzard Entertainment franchise dubbed Heroes of the Storm, with the musical piece conducted by Blizzard composer Glenn Stafford.

The show will even include an operatic tribute to Tetris, celebrating its 30th anniversary. Tickets are still available and Video Games Live also offers a VIP backstage experience. Click here for more details.

The organizers stress that you do not need a Comic-Con pass to attend the concert, but follow the rest of our Comic-Con coverage here.
