Extra Life Adds Forums, Hero Badges, And New Incentives for Fundraisers

We recently spoke with Extra Life founder Jeromy Adams at E3 and the leader of one of the largest charitable gaming organizations teased upgrades, but fundraisers can now check out a few brand new features for fundraising and community organization.

First up, Extra Life has promised that brand new forums will be ready by the end of the summer. Users will be able to find out who else is fundraising in their area, exchange information, and arrange tournaments.

Next, users can unlock achievements and trophies known as Virtual Hero Badges each of which will show off different milestones for fundraising. These will be available on the site very soon.

Finally, Extra Life has added new swag. Organizers write that new incentives are "a priority" and that they "already have a new t-shirt designed and chosen by the community" in addition to collectable Hero Medals.

Head to Extra-Life.org to sign-up and start fundraising for the Children's Miracle Network hospital in your area.
