↵Gearbox Software has just lifted the curtain on a brand-new project it's been working on for quite some time. The game is called Battleborn and, according to the Game Informer reveal, serves up "a fusion of first-person shooting and loot-grabbing RPG elements in a living comic book art style."
Battleborn appears to take the personality and charm of the studio's prior work (on games like Borderlands) and embeds it within a MOBA-inspired first-person action game. Sounds to me like an interesting and unique concept that could really take off.
The title is being published by 2K Games and is set for release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Let us know what you think of this ambitious next-gen-only title in the comments below.
